A summary of the characters, during and after "Apocalypse":



Tess Allenby:

Cadet, Starfleet Academy; promoted to Ensign; Helmsman, U.S.S. Vonnegut.

Later: Rose to Second Officer of the U.S.S. Huxley; married Sonya Gomez and settled on Caldonia, where they adopted and raised three boys from the Federation In-Vitro Repopulation Program -- Icheb, Azan, and Rebi. (Children from this program would come to be known as the First Generation.)



Leah Brahms:

Director, Starfleet Engineering.

Later: Became a leading scientist in the study of trans-warp technology; following a transporter accident, she was paralyzed due to spinal cord damage; using Borg cybernetic technology, she designed and built a personal mobility device to compensate.



Beverly Crusher:

Starfleet Surgeon General.

Later: Married Annika Hansen; after she retired as Starfleet Surgeon General, she and Annika devoted their lives to helping in the recovery of ex-Borg drones, until her death by natural causes.



Nella Daren:

Director, Starfleet Astrometrics; wife of Jean-Luc Picard.

Later: Retired and settled with Jean-Luc on the Picard estate in LeBar, France, where they raised a daughter, Meribor, and a son, Batai.



Jadzia Dax:

Captain, U.S.S. Tolstoy, Task Force Falcon.

Later: Transferred to Federation Intelligence Agency; promoted to Director following retirement of Kira Nerys.



Jenna D'Sora:

Lieutenant; Communications Officer, U.S.S. Vonnegut, U.S.S. Salinger; killed in action at Wolf 359 during the Borg invasion.



Rachel Garrett:

Captain, U.S.S. Bradbury; promoted to Fleet Admiral, Starfleet Command.

Later: Promoted to Federation High Commissioner and Starfleet Commander-in-Chief following retirement of Kathryn Janeway.



Susan Nicoletti:

Ensign; Aide to Commissioner Janeway.

Later: Promoted to Lieutenant; left Starfleet to become an artist; was a moderate success as a painter, but won high acclaim for her musical works with a Vulcan lyre.



Sonya Gomez:

Cadet, Starfleet Academy; promoted to Ensign; Assistant Engineer, U.S.S. Vonnegut.

Later: Became warp-core specialist at Utopia Planetia, Mars; married Tess Allenby and settled on Caldonia, where they adopted and raised three boys from the Federation In-Vitro Repopulation Program -- Icheb, Azan, and Rebi. (Children from this program would come to be known as the First Generation.)



Annika Hansen:

Captain, U.S.S. Faulkner, Task Force Raven; assimilated during the first Federation encounter with the Borg and designated "Seven of Nine".

Later: Married Beverly Crusher; shortly after Crusher's death, she inexplicably flew a personal spacecraft beyond Federation borders; fate unknown.



Kathryn Janeway:

Federation High Commissioner and Starfleet Commander-in-Chief.

Later: Retired several years after Borg invasion; settled on Bajor during three-year relationship with Kira Nerys; returned to Indiana, Earth.



K'Ehleyr:

Captain, Klingon Battle Cruiser Kang; died when ship was destroyed by warp-core breach of unknown cause.



Kira Nerys:

Director, Federation Intelligence Agency.

Later: Retired several years after Borg invasion; settled on Bajor during three-year relationship with Kathryn Janeway; returned to service with FIA as senior consultant; assassinated by Cardassian dissident.



Robin Lefler:

Ensign, U.S.S. Faulkner; killed in action or assimilated (unknown) during the first Federation encounter with the Borg.



Susanna Leijten:

Second Officer, promoted to First Officer, U.S.S. Vonnegut, U.S.S. Salinger; killed in action at Wolf 359 during the Borg invasion.



Pamela McKnight:

Later: Promoted to Starfleet Surgeon General; first human being to live to be 200 years old, passing away nine days after her 200th birthday.



Jean-Luc Picard:

Incapacitated Plague victim; husband of Nella Daren.

Later: Following recovery, was Director of Earth Oceanography Administration; retired and settled with Nella on the Picard estate in LeBar, France, where they raised a daughter, Meribor, and a son, Batai.



William Riker [deleted scene]:

Prostitute, Kings Cross district of Sydney, Australia; born naturally (non-clone); immune to Plague.



Ro Laren:

First Officer, U.S.S. Faulkner; killed in action or assimilated (unknown) during the first Federation encounter with the Borg.



Saavik [deleted scene]:

Vulcan Senator; former lover of Valeris; accused Valeris of complicity in Romulan bio-terrorism plot.



Selar:

Hannah Shelby:

Fleet Admiral, Starfleet Command; believed killed in action aboard the U.S.S. London during the Klingon invasion; posthumously awarded the Starfleet Medal of Honor.



Sito Jaxa:

First Officer, promoted to Captain, U.S.S. Vonnegut, U.S.S. Salinger; killed in action at Wolf 359 during the Borg invasion.



Ezri Tigan:

Counselor, U.S.S. Faulkner; killed in action or assimilated (unknown) during the first Federation encounter with the Borg.



Toreth:

Admiral, Romulan Empire; liaison to United Federation of Planets.

Later: Used as a scapegoat by the Romulan government when peace talks were being held with the Federation; sent to prison for life.



B'Elanna Torres:

Federation undercover agent (Codename: Miral).

Later: Contact lost following Klingon withdrawal from Federation territory; fate unknown.



Deanna Troi:

Counselor, Starfleet (on extended leave of absence); died of unknown causes, presumably related to psychic link with Borg collective.

Later: Autopsy revealed genetic engineering of DNA; investigation of Betazed medical community is ongoing.



Lwaxana Troi:

Betazed Senator.

Later: Key witness against Betazed government concerning illegal genetics program.



Valeris [deleted scene]:
