Seven awoke with a start. She was covered in sweat. Her heart was racing.
"B'Elanna? B'Elanna, wake up!" B'Elanna growled and shifted position. Seven gently shook her. "B'Elanna,
please!"
B'Elanna bolted up, ready for battle. "Seven, get down!" She quickly realized she was in her bed with the one
she loved and shook off the disorientation of her abrupt awakening. Seven looked as if she was about to cry.
"Seven, are you ok? What's wrong?"
"I had a dream, a terrible, disturbing dream." She threw her arms around her lover. B'Elanna smiled warmly
and comforted her. "Now, now my life, it's all right. You're awake now and here with me. Tell me about your
dream. It'll make you feel better."
Seven looked into B'Elanna's eyes and swallowed hard.
"Go ahead, tell me."
"It was crazy, disjointed. First I was walking down one of the corridors of Voyager. I entered Tom Paris'
quarters and……and……"
"Yes? Go ahead."
"You were there. I could tell that you and Tom were……were……married! And you had a baby……a little
girl!"
B'Elanna looked incredulous. "Me……and Tom Paris?" She had to fight back the urge to burst into laughter.
"Married to that cock crazy little bitch? You've got quite an imagination my love. I don't see that happening
in this universe."
"It's not funny!"
"I'm sorry. It's just that……never mind...go on."
"And then I woke up. I mean in my dream, I woke up."
"Ok, and?"
"I looked down and I was in bed with……"
"Yes?"
"I was in bed with Chakotay! We were lovers!"
This time B'Elanna looked at once incredulous and perturbed.
"Well that's just crazy. No way!I mean, Chakotay's so convinced he can turn the Captain, he's practically
serenading her on the bridge. He's even been taking bets that he'll be the first male lover she's ever had. You
should see Tuvok's face when he talks about it. No emotions my ass."
"It was still horrible!" She hugged B'Elanna tightly again."
"Now, now my life, it was just a crazy, mixed up dream. That sort of nonsense could never happen in real
life. Now go back to sleep."
Seven held her shoulders and spoke seductively. "Will you make love to me in the morning?"
B'Elanna raised one eyebrow and gave Seven a wicked grin.
"Why wait until morning?"
