All who join us are required to write at least one story for the Fest.
What in the blasted universe is this?
Well, we suppose that's a valid question...
The Femme Fuh-Q Fest is a writing challenge ... where we are encouraging authors to pair up their favorite STAR TREK leading lady, with the female character(s) of their choice. The objective is to create a wide variety of femslash for your reading pleasure. Although this challenge is primarily for f/f fanfiction, het pairings will be allowed (although hopefully not as the main focus of the story ... if you know what I mean.)
Authors all over the fandom are participating. TOS'ers, TNG'ers, DS9'ers, VOY'ers and ENT'ers alike. What does it mean? It means we're writing tender love stories, and sizzling hot sex-scenes ... and everything in between ... with all the lovely ladies of TREK!
Wanna join us? This is the Femme Fuh-Q Fest project. Inspired by all those who brought you the SFF, KFF, EFF, GFF, etc.Here are the rules.
- In joining this list you acknowledge the fact that you will join in the writing.
- The Theme for this Round will be "SUMMER FUN" -- Let your imagination run free!
- For Round XXIV, I would like everyone to sign-up in advance for a pairing...and once a specific pairing is taken, it MAY NOT BE USED BY SOMEONE ELSE. A chart will be posted to the web page, as well as the yahoo!groups page, listing the claims. Please make your pairing request ASAP. As in the past, anything goes, as far as story content is concerned, as long as it doesn't break the rules.***).
- Each story will include one (1) of the following Fab Five Femmes:

Katherine Janeway - VOY
T'Pol - ENT- For the second femme for your story, you may pick someone (if not already chosen) or have a name drawn for you (looking for inspiration, check out the names list
- The Deadline for submitting your stories to this list will be June 16, 2007. The Web Page for this Round will go live on June 21, 2007
- Stories are submitted to the Fest by being posted to the FFF mailing list ... a copy of each story should also be sent directly to the listmom at LinkyS@aol.com -- send as an attached txt, doc, or HTML file with "FFF Submission" in the subject line.
- All stories are exclusive to the FFF until July 1, 2007 -- then you are free to share them with ASC*, your livejournal, web page, or anywhere else you'd like.
- Due to the nature of the list, the stories are obviously going to be rated R-NC17. (although they will not be disqualified if they are only PG or PG-13)
- The stories will be archived on the FFF webpage. This is a domain owned by T'Lin, and is ad-free.
- The stories are not to be posted anywhere else until after the FFF web page is announced.

- *** Non-consensual and BDSM is fine as long as the stories are marked as such. Same goes for Real Person Slash/Fiction. Pairings involving children ARE NOT allowed (ie - Naomi Wildman or Molly O'Brien, although they CAN be used as ADULTS in a story, or as children, in non-sexual situations)
- The stories can be drabbles or 169 word stories, but I do prefer longer submissions. Longer stories are fun. It can also be poetry or limericks or even filks. As long as it is smutty :-)
